Lucky Me!

I am currently working on a new project, which is all to do with luck and fortune. I am documenting my lucky pennies and generally testing my luck by entering competitions and buying lottery tickets. When this project goes live online, you will be able to use Adele’s Lucky Balls™ to select your (hopefully) winning lottery numbers and see what I have been lucky enough to win so far. This is an interactive project, and you will be able to share photos of your lucky experiences and, if you are feeling a little short of luck, I will send you a lucky penny to help you find fortune in your life. I am in the process of inviting luck into my life by exploring traditional rituals and omens and, if you have any unusual luck-related stories to tell, I would love to hear from you. Email me at adele@adeleprince.com with any stories.

Keep checking AdelePrince.com for up to date information on the development of this project.

Dream Diary

www.adeleprince.com/dreamdiary Have you ever wondered what happens when an artist sleeps? You can find out by reading my online Dream Diary! I have been keeping a Dream Diary for a few months, and using dream interpretation books in an attempt to work out what it all means. The interpretations are quite limited, and I would be interested in finding out what you think they mean, so please leave a comment.

EasyExercises™

easy_splash_sml.gif Why not visit my online exercise project EasyExercises™? Here you will find an exercise programme for those people who are disinclined towards exercise. This web project has been supported by a Digital Arts Bursary from East Midland Arts, and has been been developed in collaboration with New Media Designer Edward Hill. The website, which has been built in Flash, is illustrated with line drawings and digital video and offers a four week beginners programme to ease you into your new exercise routine.

EasyExercises™ was reviewed in [a-n] Magazine, August issue.

Passions

book.jpg I’m in a book! ‘Passions’ was launched at the Mile End Ecology Centre in London on August 15th. The book celebrates the achievements of creative women in the East End of London, with interviews and photographs of 26 different women. The Summer Expo was an opportunity to launch ‘Passions‘, and for the women involved to show their work, receive feedback and network with likeminded people. The book was commissioned by Account3, and edited by Josephine Amuwo, Deborah Dukes and Toni Meredew.

You can purchase the book by contacting Account3 on 0207 739 7720.
